The 78-year-old man found shot to death Saturday in a northeast Dallas motel parking lot was the 19-year-old Lyft driver arrested in the killing, according to court documents.
Records show Maurice Parker was charged with capital murder and was being held in the Dallas County Jail on $5 million bail. It is unclear whether he has a lawyer.

Haddad Farsi's wallet, cell phone and car were missing, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by . dallas morning news. Detectives determined the car he was driving was one he had rented as a Lyft driver.
Haddad Farsi's last ride with Lyft was to ask Parker for an address near where the body was found, the affidavit said.

While searching Parker's belongings, officers found a wallet containing several documents related to Haddad Farsi, including a Texas driver's license, passport card and Social Security card, according to the warrant. It is said that he did.
Investigators questioned Parker about Haddad Farsi's murder after he was taken into custody, and Parker admitted to shooting the man and taking the car, officers wrote in an arrest warrant.
