Christian then committed to Texas on May 13, choosing the Longhorns over Texas A&M or Texas Tech.
“The atmosphere in the room was pretty cool,” Christian said in April. “There was a lot of energy. I can see myself playing here and going here. They showed me the dorms and stuff, and it was really nice. How (Kyle Flood) coached me. It's important to know what he does and how (Steve Sarkisian) coaches him.”
Christian is ranked No. 409 overall, No. 41 among interior offensive linemen and No. 75 player in the state of Texas, according to On3 industry rankings. On3 Industry Rankings are a proprietary algorithm that aggregates ratings and rankings from all four major recruiting media services.
On3 ranks Christian as the No. 31 prospect overall and the No. 71 player in the state of Texas.
