Not interested in the gory situations of previous entries? Perhaps you're looking for something (mostly) friendly to viewers of most age groups? We bring you a wealth of fun and entertainment.
Squirrel Girl (played by the wonderful Milana Weintrub, who was supposed to play her as the live-action Squirrel Girl in the now-cancelled MCU project) recently revealed her secret identity as Doreen Greene. exposed to the world. She asserted her own identity by doing a podcast on the Empire State University Radio Network.
In it, she talks about her life as a superhero while taking calls from people in New York, including ordinary citizens as well as costumed heroes (and villains). But when an anonymous caller begins using her show to announce a series of heinous (and strangely cliche) crimes, Squirrel Girl (and her friends) try to stop them. Take on challenges boldly.
Each episode is also kid-friendly, so if your kids are interested in comics, this is a great episode to take in the car. Special guests include, oddly enough, people your child might find interesting, such as comedian Busy Philipps, Freestyle Love Supreme, and my personal hero Lea Thompson. Out of range.
The show not only explores the scarier side of the Marvel Universe, but also features a cast of bizarre characters from the Squirrel Girl comics, including Chipmunk Hank, Coyboy, and my personal favorite, a nihilist built into a robot body. Also introduces the brain, Brain Drain.
Expertly written with lots of fun jokes and witty twists, this is a fun and light-hearted few episodes that are perfect for when you need a break from the dark mood of other stories.
