The next Live@Lanier will be held on Thursday, February 22nd at 1pm at the Lanier Library and will focus on podcast creation. A podcast is a series of free digital audio files that a subscriber can listen to on his computer or mobile device whenever convenient. Anyone with something to say can become a podcaster. This event is for anyone who wants to broadcast what's on their mind, or simply want to learn more about the what, why, who, and how of podcasting.
POLK LORE is a local podcast that broadcasts news, features, and fresh perspectives on Polk County culture, politics, and geography. Creator and host James Hrynyshyn has a career in communications spanning more than 25 years, including as a science editor, writer, consultant, and independent journalist.
