happens almost immediately Batman: Unburied In the same world, a masked vigilante goes around killing many of Gotham's most famous career criminals. This isn't necessarily shocking given how Gotham is headed, but what stands out here is that the victim is a known criminal.
Returning to Arkham Asylum, the Riddler (voiced by Hasan Minaj) has been following the case for a while, but when he receives a letter from Batman, the mystery becomes very close to home, and he realizes that Batman will take his life. I was perplexed and confused by the concept of making a decision. His friend Julian Day is also known as Calendar Man. It arrives at about the same time Calendar Man is murdered by this masked killer.
Warned that he is one of the killer's next targets, the Riddler knows he must run. Now, while the Riddler is being chased by a police officer who wants him dead, he must team up with another detective to uncover the identity of the murderer, Batman himself.
This story has incredible dialogue, an extraordinary mystery element, a moving van's worth of suspense, and perhaps one of my favorite renditions of Killer Croc outside of Gotham Academy. The character is a love letter to Batman's lesser-explored villains, turning even characters like King Tut into fully three-dimensional human characters that you might not like but definitely care about.
