This time, they acquired Gregory (not George) Santos from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for LL's beloved prospect maverick Zach DeLoach and beloved Prelander Velor for 69.th Nominate him in the upcoming draft. After trading away Justin Topa, Santos becomes the team's third-best reliever by default. Perhaps most excitingly, given Santo's young age and experience, he feels comfortable using him not only as a player heading into 2024, but also as a long-term bullpen player.
