A partnership between Stream Realty Partners and Project Destined will give 12 college students in the Dallas-Fort Worth market the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a work-based curriculum this summer.
Founded by Cedric Bobo, a Harvard MBA graduate and investment banker for more than 20 years, Project Destined trains high school students, college students, and veterans to become owners and stakeholders in the communities in which they live. Masu.
The comprehensive social impact program aims to introduce diverse talent to the commercial real estate industry.

Practical education and guidance
Stream and Project Destined will provide a nine-week work-based training program to students attending the University of Texas at Dallas, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University, the University of North Texas at Dallas, and Texas Christian University.
Through a curriculum that includes workshops, an executive speaker series and site visits, students will be educated in market research, real estate analysis, asset valuation and transaction financing, Stream said.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in continuing education courses such as financial modeling, investment management, capital markets, and affordable housing.
Students in the program will compete against each other in groups to expose industry leaders to live real estate transactions, Stream said.
Project Destined students are matched with Stream mentors who share their commercial real estate knowledge and experience during weekly meetings.
Stream said senior associate Patrick Crews, associates Hannah Hutchins and Ben Harrison, and senior financial analyst Jenkins Bender will serve as mentors and will meet weekly with the mentees.
Stream Northern Virginia Managing Director Anthony Chan and Associate Brennan Fewin will serve as judges for the competition.
