Trick-or-treating on the streets of downtown Dallas
free Dress up in your scariest or most ridiculous costume and enjoy a night of Halloween adventures. Check in at Main Street Garden to get a map of downtown candy stops. There will also be a Halloween-themed photo session, local artisan market, and craft stations for kids. Cliburn Community Concert musicians gather at Pegasus Plaza (1500 Main Street), and every half hour he performs a 10-minute spooky serenade.

Treating Fort Worth's Street Stockyards Spooktacular
free Little Goblins and their families are invited to trick-or-treat at the Fort Worth Stockyards with participating retailers. The event will include treats from Stockyard Station and Mule Alley merchants, as well as free hayrides and face painting. Legends of Texas shows begin at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

pumpkin night
This walk-through Halloween attraction has extended spooky season through November 5th. See thousands of hand-carved faux pumpkins and lights arranged into fantasy scenes, including a 40-foot-long dragon and a ghostly pirate ship. This event is more family friendly than scary. Halloween night entertainment will feature fire dancers and pumpkin carvers. There will also be food trucks and vendors at the venue.
It will be held on select nights through Nov. 5 at Howell Farms, 4016 W. Division, Arlington. Tickets are $20 to $28 for ages 13 and up, $15 to $20 for ages 4 to 12, and free for ages 3 and under. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Parking fee is $10 per car. pumpkinnights.com.
Six Flags Fright Festival
Fright Fest features haunted attractions, scare zones, roller coasters in the dark, and spooky surprises.

Hitchcocktober: “Psycho”
The Angelica Theater will conclude its month-long Alfred Hitchcock tribute with the director's 1960 masterpiece, which had audiences screaming in their seats during Janet Leigh's infamous shower scene. The film stars Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates, the troubled owner of the Bates Motel.
