The Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is a leading NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, a unique environment where residents can gain expertise in radiation oncology and related fields. Through our radiation oncology training program, our residents work with leading experts and have access to some of the most advanced technology and research facilities in the world.

Our department provides our residents with extensive exposure to a variety of disease settings using a variety of techniques and is nationally known for our research in hypofractionation and stereotactic radiation delivery. We have one of his only two GammaPod systems in the country, the Leksell Gamma Knife Icon, which allows for both framed and frameless stereotactic radiosurgery.
