Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been ordered by a judge to undergo a DNA test to determine if he is the father of the woman who sued Jones in 2023.
The judge's order was issued during a hearing in early February, according to court documents obtained by The Dallas Morning News. Alexandra Davis, the 27-year-old woman suing Jones, claims her mother's ex-husband is not her father, as confirmed by her genetic testing. “Alex is now in a position where he no longer has to hide his truth or live under the control of fear, and perhaps he will finally find peace. He will be given the freedom from other judges to follow the law. We hope that his family will receive similar benefits,'' Davis' attorney Chris Hayes said, reported USA Today.

In a lawsuit dating back to 2022, Davis alleged in documents that Jones had an affair with her mother, Cynthia Davis, in the mid-1990s, which led to Alexandra's pregnancy. An agreement was made between them that Jones would support Davis financially but would not publicly acknowledge that Jones was Alexandra's father.
Back in 2023, Davis sued Jones for defamation, claiming that Jones and two others tried to label her a “shakedown artist” and a “blackmailer.” After being partially dismissed in October, Davis filed the lawsuit again just a month later.
