At Land Grant Holy Land, we mainly deliver uncut audio from the following regions throughout the year. Ohio Not only from press conferences, but also from individual interview sessions.
Sunday's win for Ohio State women's basketball clinched a share of the Big Ten regular season title, but the Buckeyes let everyone know Wednesday night that they don't like sharing. The Scarlet & Gray defeated the Michigan Wolverines 67-51 to win the league championship. After the game, head coach Kevin McGuff, guard Jaycee Sheldon, and forward Coty McMahon spoke to the media.
Coach McGough talks about the importance of this team, why this title win is special, how the Buckeyes look to their next game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, and how they will celebrate this big win. He talked about his intentions. Tip: This includes getting home and sitting on the couch.
McMahon and Sheldon then talked about how much the team has grown to get to this moment, how they only want their own trophy, and how Sunday's game against the Iowa Hawkeyes remains personal for the team. Let's talk about something.
Much more was said at a press conference shortly after confetti and streamers fell on the Schottenstein Center floor.
