The Dallas Mavericks opened their road game against the Boston Celtics with a three-point lead, but it was all downhill for Dallas from there. The Celtics held the Mavs to 26.6 percent from three for a 138-110 victory at TD Garden on Thursday night.
Despite Dallas superstar Luka Doncic posting 37 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, the Celtics looked nearly unstoppable aside from a slight upset in the third quarter of the game. Boston won the game thanks to great performances from Jayson Tatum (32 points, 8 rebounds), Jaylen Brown (25 points, 7 boards, 5 assists), and Kristaps Porzingis (24 points, 6 rebounds).
The Celtics also had Derrick White (13 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists), Jrue Holiday (11 points, 7 assists), Al Horford (12 points, 8 rebounds) and Peyton Pritchard (10 points). I also received a lot of inspiration from. Two players came off the bench.
