Recently, redditor u/JackHammerAwesome asked, “What is something that we're currently in a 'golden age' that isn't well known?”I think this is a very good question! I don't know about you, but I tend to think of something as being in its golden age. rear And we never stop to think about what's at its peak here and now. It's kind of nice to read these and think about all the interesting and wonderful times we're in. the current (You know, as opposed to thinking about how we've lived up to now in “unprecedented times”) We're living without even realizing it. So here are 15 things that people believe are currently in the “age of murder.”
1.“Cooking! I'm 30 years old now and it's so easy to find great recipes and good cooking equipment. There's so much information out there that I can save money on food in so many different ways. Literally, YouTube has taught me so many great recipes. It teaches me how to make things.”
2.“Podcasts — long-form storytelling, interviews, and investigative reporting on so many topics — new and old. A great form of education, entertainment, and everything in between.”

3.“Home TV. The kind of hardware you can buy for $300 is just ridiculous compared to what was known from the 1980s to the 2000s.”

“I bought a 32-inch TV from Best Buy for $1,700 in 2006. The fact that just 18 years later I was looking at a TV twice the size for 40% less and with the same picture quality… I don’t get it.’ That’s so good, it gives me chills sometimes. ”

Four.“Astronomy is currently in a golden age. It's changed dramatically over the past 30 years or so. Think about it: If you're over 30 years old, you're born into a world where you don't know whether planetary systems are rare or rare. “It's common. We now know that almost every star is likely to have planets. We know of more than 5,000 exoplanets. Mars has no signs of life. Since 2000, generations of spacecraft exploring Mars have changed that.''It is now unclear whether we will ever find evidence of past life on Mars.'' Some argue that it's not a question of when, but of when. We've discovered multiple worlds with oceans of liquid water in our solar system, and we're just scratching the surface. JWST New technologies such as “are gaining momentum for the foreseeable future.''
Five.“Unfortunately, it's a scam. Technology has made it easier and cheaper to carry out scams. People are more lonely and mental health concerns make people more susceptible to these scams. And outdated law enforcement agencies are ill-equipped to track fraud, with virtually no penalties for doing so.”

6.“Knitting. First, we are in a golden age of yarn. Hundreds of independent dyers are producing amazing colors in a truly mind-boggling range of yarn bases (both fiber content and weight).” Even though it's a “cheap” yarn, the quality is excellent. There are plenty of yarns that are soft enough to wear next to your skin (though if it's your jam, you might end up with scratchy yarns). And there is a pattern. Many of them are available for free online. If you think about what you want to create, there is a pattern. ”
7.“Paleontology! Lots of technology is revealing new things.”

“We will also completely review existing knowledge. DNA research in paleontology has changed so much that joke papers have been published about it, even though many people are using the best methodologies available. “Because of a small number of DNA studies, many people's life's work has been proven wrong” to them at the time. ”

8.“Board games have come a long way over the past decade, with tons of great games coming out every year.”
—u/jraff_dot_net
“The combination of the Internet and copyright regulation incompetence has opened a dam of innovation in board games.”

9.“We're in a definite renaissance of horror movies, and it's been going on for years. They're some of the only good movies being made today, IMO.”
Ten.“Soda water. As a former alcoholic who was able to turn some of that addiction and habit into drinking ridiculous amounts of soda water instead of booze, I'm so happy to be in this golden age. Thank you. The number of options is amazing.”

11.“Keyboards, both synthesizers and mechanical. You can get a synthesizer that sounds the same as a $5,000 Minimoog for $200, and you can get a decent mechanical keyboard for less.”

12.“I record music by playing the guitar. Nowadays, you can buy high-quality guitars online at very low prices, and there is also some free professional recording software.”
13.“Documentaries. There are so many great ones available in so many online outlets.”
—u/Wise Bat98
14.“Archaeology. The power of LiDAR to identify possibly man-made structures beneath the jungle canopy layer is just incredible.”
—u/ModusPwnins
15.And finally, “Food options. No matter what your problem, you have a pantry full of food that meets your limitations and tastes great. Compare the Keto diet from 1999 to now. It's unrealistic. .”
Now it's your turn! What golden age do you think we're in right now? Let us know in the comments below.
