With iOS 17.4, Apple introduced podcast transcription via the Podcasts app. Being able to read episode transcripts on my iPhone is pretty convenient. Transcripts not only allow you to review words and phrases that were difficult to catch, but also allow you to enjoy your podcast with the audio turned down, allowing you to quickly explore the content of a podcast to find the best parts.
Transcripts are also useful if you're listening to a podcast in another language. Hone your language skills with the transcription feature. You can also choose your words, giving you more flexibility with your podcast. Once you find a section of sounds you like, you can tap the text to play the podcast from that point. You can also copy the text if you want to note down the words for reference. Let's check it out.
