During the 2023 holiday season, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints partnered with religious organizations to implement more than 60 projects, serving approximately 42,000 children in the New York metropolitan area. One of the many leaders supporting this interfaith partnership is the Reverend Que English, who said the alliance is a model for how “we can come together to bring hope” in a divided world.
Since 2021, Rev. English of the New York Council of Religious Leaders has served as director of the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Previously, she served as Deputy Director of Faith-Based Initiatives in the New York State Governor's Office. She is married to the Rev. Tim English, senior pastor of Bronx Christian Fellowship in the Bronx, New York.
Pastor Que English, who has a passion for empowering, training, and educating, joins us on this episode of the Church News Podcast to talk about the power and necessity of interfaith engagement.
