VEB, I finally got to sit down and write at 11:30 Saturday night. That means I don't have time to write long articles. Between a tough week at work, a tough week in general, and a few podcast appearances, I was simply too busy to devote enough time to Sunday's article.
It's spring training for bloggers too.
But even though I won't be giving you an article today, I'm not going to go home empty-handed.
One of the things I love about the Cardinals internet community is that it's full of interesting and smart bloggers, podcasters, tweeters, and all-around content creators. So today I'd like to take a step back from my usual article writing and plug in by sharing a link. In case you're looking for content, here are some of the podcasts I've been on this week.
Wednesday with Walton
I wanted to start with this podcast because it's one I appear on regularly. In fact, I appear on the show every week to discuss prospects, farm systems in general, and other timely topics with Cardinal Nation's Brian Walton.
Episodes are a quick 15-20 minute listen each and are released every Wednesday (if you couldn't tell from the name).
Last Wednesday, Brian and I discussed the fine-tuning pitchers are showing during camp, as well as injuries to Sonny Gray and Tommy Edman and their effects. Please check it out if you are interested!
You can access the latest podcast and all future episodes here or on your favorite podcast app, or go straight to the source with The Cardinal Nation.
rambling redbird
Another podcast I was on this week was the Rambling Redbirds podcast, and I had a great time talking baseball with Jake (@woodbat28 on Twitter) and Adam (@TortsIllustrtd on Twitter).
It's definitely worth following these guys on Twitter and checking out their podcasts. They're a lot of fun and create really interesting discussions.
You can access all episodes here or the latest episode by tweeting below.
That's all for today, but on Tuesday I'll be writing a lot of thoughts and thoughts from the final week of spring training games, as well as covering some pitchers that have impressed me recently and my thoughts on the Cardinals' outfield situation.
Check out the podcast and have a great Sunday!
