Comedian Bassem Youssef, known for his sharp wit and political commentary, discovered Billy Joel's “Pressure” in an unlikely place, midway through his Amazon superhero satire show. the boys. The more Youssef got into “Pressure,” the more he connected with its energetic synth-rock vibe, soaring melodies, and theme of dealing with stress. “[I had] “The pressure of touring, the pressure of the Piers Morgan show, and being exposed again, I realized that I've been living with that kind of pressure all my life,” says the comedian. “So I decided to make this my theme song, my walk-on music on stage. And maybe it'll be my theme song for the rest of my life.”
