Meek Mill received an offer from Academics that might be hard to refuse after announcing his intention to get into the podcast game.
On Saturday (March 16), we took on the challenge of X, formerly known as Twitter, dreams and nightmares The rapper revealed that he has a lot to say but can only say it on the podcast platform.
“I want to get a podcast deal because I have so much to say on so many different levels!” he said, in part. “If your podcast business is slow, I’ll turn it around. – From meek mill – I’ve always been my own medium and want to be a part of black media culture.
“Instead of just jumping in, I want to partner with people who are already great in this business. Two episodes a month! Yeah, it's just a podcast deal, kid…I want to go into the media right now and rap. I just want to tell the story of institutional reform, and I want others to share their stories and take action against all the propaganda. [sic]…uplifting black culture…banning beef publicly…
He further added: “It's going to be called 'Cultural Currency.' Tell me the level of business knowledge I know, from the streets to the super-wealthy!” Like you hosted a show on Spotify, Street Beef As energized as I am, I would love to have such an opportunity!”
This prompted longtime podcaster and rival Academicus to make an offer to the Philadelphia rapper.
“We're offering $1 million upfront for 52 episodes,” he responded in a quoted tweet. “Once a week. We own the video and audio, with a 2nd year renewal option. We also reduce ads by 50% for the ads we bring in (Prizepicks, Fashionova, etc.). Podcasts You can own it, but the IP is shared as long as you have a contract.”

This is the latest $1 million offer made to the two rival factions.
Earlier this month, the book's author, Damon Feldman, 16 Minuteman said the CEO of Official Celebrity Boxing. TMZ He said he had made all the necessary preparations for the pair to step into the ring, including booking a venue for May 18 and offering the winner a $1 million purse if they accepted his offer.
“DJ Akademiks, you always start shitting, listen, you gotta step up,” he said. “I have already arranged a boxing training camp for you at Gonzalez Gym. Legwon [not the Wu-Tang Clan legend] We will train you here. Meek Mill, he already has Monique Jackson's trainers. ”
Mr. Feldman continued: May 18th, Atlanta. I've already talked to his guys at King of Diamonds. They are helping us prepare the venue. Please step up. There's $1 million at stake in celebrity boxing. ”
So far, neither side has responded to Feldman's offer.
