With less than three months left until Mexico's general election, analysts believe it's a given that the front-runner, Claudia Sheinbaum, will win. Sheinbaum's biggest asset is the support of current President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, known as AMLO, who appears to be transferring that popularity to her candidacy. However, many questions still remain about this election and her candidacy. Is there still a chance that opposition candidate Xochitl Gálvez can pull this off? What distinguishes these two candidates? If elected, how will Claudia Sheinbaum differ from López Obrador in areas such as style, energy and security? Especially Donald Given Trump's past and current statements about Mexico, how is Mexico's next president likely to engage with the United States? In this episode, political commentator Carlos Bravo Regidor takes a look at Mexico's political situation. I'll take it up.
