This new series, derived from the Long Time No See Comedy live show, puts an unexpected twist on comedy podcasts, literally. We had two cartoonists sit blindfolded at Gold Diggers in Los Angeles without telling them who was on the other side of the table. When they cover their eyes, they may find themselves in front of an old friend, a respected colleague, or a complete stranger. Either way, they'll be asked a series of ridiculous and probing questions, the answers of which will reveal both themselves and the world of stand-up comedy.
Season 1 kicks off with two of the circuit's regulars.Lacey and Braunger get caught up in the biggest bombshell, most underrated problem. and Comedy's biggest tipster (hint: “Cleveland rocks!”) performs, touching on the misuse of “woke” and why comics should stop forcing their audiences to do their jobs. Introducing overrated cities and life advice.
Lacey has appeared on Comedy Central and has co-starred with comedy stars such as Bill Burr and Hannibal Buress. Find his upcoming dates here.
