Laviolette wins his 800th game as Rangers clinch playoff spot

The Rangers qualified for the playoffs.

Now begins the journey to remain at the top of the Eastern Conference.

There are 10 games left in the regular season. Will they still be the best team in the NHL, at least by record, going into the playoffs?

Peter Laviolette also won his 800th career game with a thrilling playoff-clinching OT win against the Flyers at MSG on Tuesday night.

Brian Boyle received a little coaching from Laviolette in Nashville.
