The Podcast Show, the premier international festival focused on the podcast industry, will be held at the Business Design Center in Islington, London, from 22-23 May. The event serves as a global celebration and platform for the podcasting field.
As the global central hub for the podcast community, The Podcast Show brings together creators, brands, and industry leaders to discuss and shape the future of podcasts.
The event was attended by iHeartPodcasts President Will Pearson, Chief Operating Officer Carrie Lieberman, YouTube UK & Ireland Managing Director Alison Lomax and BBC Studios Director of Audio Richard.・Key figures such as Mr. Knight and Acast CEO Ross Adams will appear. Tiffany Asity, Acast's managing director for the Americas, and others.
These industry leaders will share their global insights through keynotes, panel discussions, and sessions covering topics from the impact of AI to marketing strategies for the podcasting space.
As a highlight of the event, Will Pearson will deliver a keynote on the first day titled “The State of Podcasting,” discussing industry growth, audience trends, advertising insights, and future trends. Alison Lomax talks about her YouTube podcast with special guests and explores her role of YouTube for podcasters and creators.
This will be Richard Knight's first speech since becoming BBC Studios sound director.

The schedule includes “Transatlantic Perspectives” by Carrie Lieberman, Tiffany Asity, and Steve Ackerman, “How Podcast Advertising Can Power the $250 Billion Global Creator Economy” by Ross Adams and Dan Fierman; It includes sessions that provide an international perspective, such as “Podcast: New Media in Asia.” “Habit” by Timi Siytangco, and “Tuning to 550 Million Listeners” focused on the Spanish-language podcast market by Nuria Net, Lory Martinez, and Marcus Hurst.
The event will also include a podcast show official party featuring DJ Pete Tong on May 22nd. Spreaker and Triton Digital will provide complimentary drinks. This party is exclusive to Platinum Passholders and you must RSVP to attend.
