The Dallas Cowboys continue to play with fire when it comes to starting QB Dak Prescott.
After mishandling Prescott's previous contract extension with the Big D, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the rest of the Dallas front office decided that Jones would allow the franchise to play out the final year of Prescott's contract. It is possible that he did not learn from that mistake because he indicated that he would allow him to do so.
If the Cowboys fail to give the signal-caller a lucrative new contract, Prescott will become a free agent next year and could potentially profit on the open market. This will be a huge boost for the QB who has returned to being a top 10 passer. However, after the Cowboys' struggles in the playoffs, the Cowboys may not think the price for Prescott is worth it.
What should the Cowboys do? GM Shuffle breaks it down in today's episode.
