The Mavericks (45-29) enter this game as red hot after winning seven straight games to move into the No. 6 seed in the West. Dallas has won nine of its last 10 games overall and is 6-1 in its last seven road contests.

Draymond Green is a mainstay for the Warriors, leading the team in rebounds (7.3 rpg) and providing elite defense. The Warriors will need Green to be at his best against Doncic and the powerful Mavs offense.

Depth is a big concern for the Warriors. Jonathan Kuminga (16.3 points) has potential but is inconsistent and is questionable for this game due to a knee injury. Dario Saric is also absent. The Warriors are only 20th in bench scoring at 30.1 points per game.

However, the Warriors posted a solid ATS, going 41-33 overall and 25-12 on the road. However, he is only 16-21 ATS at home. The total was over in 22 of the 37 home games.

This game will come down to which superstar, Doncic or Curry, can impose his will more forcefully. The Mavs need to take advantage of the Warriors' weak inside defense by feeding Doncic in the post and forcing him to create. Defensively, Dallas will have to stick with Curry and Thompson on the perimeter.

Golden State will need classic performances from Curry and Thompson to pull off a small upset. The Warriors' best bet is to play fast, move the ball, and drop bombs from beyond 3-point range. Defensively, they need to send Doncic and an aggressive double team.

The biggest X-factor for Dallas is the health of Derek Lively II, who is questionable with a leg injury. His size and rim protection will be very valuable against the Warriors. Golden State, on the other hand, needs Kuminga to play well if he can suit up.

In the end, I'm buying the Mavs' momentum and they end up on the money line with Dallas at odds of -110. Doncic is playing at an otherworldly level right now, and I expect him to carve out the Warriors' mediocre defense. The Mavs are also 5-0 ATS in their last five games against Golden State.
