Whatsapp is back online, but now Apple seems to be having its own problems, with the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Podcasts, Apple Music, etc. all down, making it seem like a very bad day for the internet.
According to Downdetector, one of IGN's sister sites, reports of the outage began to spike around 3:00 PM Pacific Time and have remained high ever since. As a result, the App Store is trending on his X/Twitter.
Who pulled the plug on Apple 💀

Apple's system status page states: “Users are experiencing issues with this service. We are investigating and will update the status as more information becomes available.”
The outage appears to effectively affect Apple services such as Arcade and Books. That means anyone who relies on Apple's “walled garden” will probably have to put down their iPhone and sit tight for a while.
It's unclear what's behind these disruptions or if there's any connection, but the internet's infrastructure is unstable at the best of times. We will continue to add updates to this article as they become available.
