Google officially shut down the Google Podcasts app on April 2nd. Google announced in a blog post that it will be shutting down Google Podcasts in 2023, saying the company plans to focus more on audio and video podcasts through YouTube Music. The app has been discontinued in the United States and will be unavailable to users in other parts of the world later this year.
