This weekend marks six months since the deadliest attack in Israel's history shook the region and the world. On October 7, 2023, hundreds of Hamas fighters poured across the border from Gaza, killing 1,200 people and kidnapping around 250 men, women, and children. 130 of the remaining hostages are still missing, 34 of whom are presumed dead.
