They have already made eight visits to war-torn Ukraine. Now, the people of New Hampshire are preparing for their ninth aid mission. It has even enlisted another company to help provide desperately needed supplies, especially to children in Ukraine. We are Common People for Ukraine, a nonprofit coalition of donors and heroes working with the Rotary Clubs of Plymouth, New Hampshire, USA, and Zamośc, Poland.
We funded an all-volunteer network to provide basic humanitarian aid to refugee orphans and two-parent children in Poland and Ukraine.

Roger Wood is an award-winning radio, podcast, newspaper and television journalist with over 50 years' experience in the media. Roger spent his entire professional career in New Hampshire. Roger is currently an Associate at InDepthNH.org where he serves as his Publisher and Podcast Producer. In 2021 and 2022, he was honored by the New Hampshire Press Association for his work on News his podcast. He is the recipient of his 2022 NHPA Lifetime Achievement Award. Prior to that, he was recognized for his work in radio broadcast news and public affairs. He has produced news and feature reports for InDepthNH, New Hampshire Public Radio, NPR and other public and commercial radio stations. He also produced a spot for CBS Radio. He has produced and narrated approximately 50 audiobooks and has written three novels. Roger has also moderated political forums for the Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce in Senate, gubernatorial, and Congressional races. He has also facilitated public policy discussions locally and statewide. He has three adult children and four grandchildren. Roger and his wife Elaine live in Portsmouth with their cat Maura.
