The 2024 solar eclipse is a thing of the past, but the video coming from Texas is just amazing.
Millions of people from across the country flocked to North Texas this week to catch a glimpse of the total solar eclipse, and they weren't disappointed.
I'm sure some people didn't understand the scale of this eclipse, but after watching some videos of the sun being in shadow during the day, it's easy to see why so many people invested in it. You will be able to understand.
Time-lapse photography from Dallas, Texas shows just how dark the moon really is during midday, when it passes between the sun and Earth. Imagine having to turn on your headlights during the day to see the road for a few minutes, and then things go back to normal.
This is a view from near downtown Dallas, where conditions are very eerie for the 2024 eclipse.
This is the solar eclipse as seen from Ft. Worth, Texas, they too were able to witness a total solar eclipse. How amazing it was to see how perfect this was.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen due to cloud cover in southern Louisiana.
If you can't get enough of these time-lapse videos of the solar eclipse, check out another video that shows just how dark Texas got during the day on April 8, 2024.
