Police say they have issued arrest warrants on suspicion of murder for two people who may be involved in an early morning shooting in east Oak Cliff.
The two suspects in Saturday's killing were identified as Denuto Bell, 24, and Kaylan Bowens, 18, according to a Sunday news release from the Dallas Police Department. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
Dallas police initially released a photo of the man Saturday afternoon, but did not release his name. According to information shared by police on Sunday, Bell was photographed wearing a hat.
Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, police were called to a shooting in the 4400 block of South Marsalis Avenue. Police said in an earlier news release that they found 30-year-old Shaquetta Johnson shot in the parking lot. Johnson died at the scene.
Police determined that Johnson was shot and killed inside his car after two people fired multiple shots into the vehicle. The suspects fled the scene in two vehicles, one of which was the blue Mazda sedan pictured above, according to the release.
