Investment management firm Invesco plans to occupy 58,464 square feet at Union in Uptown Dallas.
Invesco will be located at 2300 N. Field St., occupying the 11th and 12th floors of the Class A office tower, according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
HKS Inc. is listed as the design firm for the interior renovation, which has an estimated construction cost of $1.5 million.
Construction is expected to begin at the end of April, with a handover date set for August.
Invesco's current offices are located downtown at the Trammell Crow Center (2001 Ross Ave.).
The Union, which also includes a variety of restaurants, a Tom Thumb grocery store, and a residential tower, changed hands in 2020, a year after it was completed. It was sold to a group of Far Eastern investors for more than $370 million, but developer RED Development retains a small stake in the building and continues to operate it.
Office leasing for The Union is being led by John Brownlee and Gini Rounsaville of JLL.
Invesco is the latest in a series of companies to leave downtown Dallas for the other side of Klyde Warren Park. Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Deloitte are among the companies planning to move thousands of people to the area.
