Jerry Jones should be spending his time thinking about how to help the underperforming Dallas Cowboys, but instead he's doing everything he can to lure Kentucky Wildcats rookies to Arkansas.
Jones was a co-captain of the University of Arkansas and was a part of that team's 1964 national championship team. He's also an Arkansas native and the owner of the most valuable football franchise in the country.
That being said, when John Calipari arrived in Fayetteville, most of Kentucky's top recruits were immediately put back on the market. According to Tolly Donovan, Jones is now hoping to bring them to Arkansas with a new coach.

The Cats had one of the best recruiting classes before the Calipari exodus. Calipari's departure surprised some, but after early exits in the NCAA Tournament in recent years, it seemed like it was only a matter of time.
Calipari's high-profile, elite team consistently underperformed in its brightest moments. It was time for a change, but in doing so the Cats lost a number of top players, including Carter Knox, Jayden Quaintance, and Boogie Frand.
Now, many of them may not follow Calipari to Lexington, but Jones' offer may be hard for them to refuse.
Kentucky still has homegrown four-star guard Travis Perry slated to join the roster, and there is still hope that lottery pick Reed Shepard will return to Lexington, but that is highly unlikely. seems to be low.
Mark Pope has had his job cut, particularly in recruiting.
