The hay is pretty much in the barn for the Jacksonville Jaguars when it comes to the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Jaguars held their annual pre-draft luncheon on Thursday, where general manager Trent Baalke and head coach Doug Pederson answered questions about the draft process and the team's direction.
“Well, when you don't need a position and the position is heavy like quarterback, you're likely to lose four or five guys or a group before you draft at 17. That's a good thing. At the position. players, or players in other positions that we have available,” Baalke said.
“Again, I don't know what's going to happen from one to 16 players. I think I get the idea, but whether it's three players or four players, I don't know what it's going to be like. We're coming in with a pretty good idea of what our options are, but we're not there yet, so my coach and I haven't made any final considerations yet, and we're going to do that on Monday. But we like the way it's shaping up and there's still some work to be done.”
