The Legacy of Charity's Children explores the intergenerational journey of the Davis/Brodie family through family archives, oral history, and historical records. The series is created and narrated by broadcaster, historian, genealogist, and motivational speaker Patricia Smith Griffin, and includes John Isaac Davis and his daughter Charity Davis Caesar Brody. Twelve generations (and counting) of Mrs. Brody's descendants in the Miami Valley of Dayton, Ohio, have made significant contributions to this region since its beginning in 1803-1804. In recognition of her community work, Mrs. Brody was posthumously added to the Dayton Area Walk of Fame in October 2023.
