Southlake, Texas (CBSDFDW.COM) – A Southlake restaurant attached to a Dallas spa known for prostitution has reopened.
Dragon House was shut down in October after police discovered money from Jade Spa was tied to the restaurant's account.
Meanwhile, the money from the restaurant was used to pay for the spa.
At least six people were charged in the operation.
Five of the women found at the spa are victims of human trafficking and are receiving help.
Dragon House manager Michael Teng told CBS 11 he had no knowledge of the owner's alleged involvement in any other transactions.
He said his employees made the decision to reopen the restaurant because everyone needed a job.
“Everyone needs a job,” Teng said. “It's not our fault. We're doing everything right. We're just hardworking people trying to make a living.”
