The Dallas Cowboys won the 11th annual Reliant Home Run Derby benefiting the Salvation Army of North Texas. Thousands of fans gathered at Ryder's Field in Frisco to cheer on the Cowboys, who swapped their soccer balls for baseballs during the game for this fun and friendly cause. As a result of this charity event, Reliant donated his $145,400 to 23 North Texas nonprofit organizations, bringing his total community impact since the event's inception in 2013 to $984,000. .

As Cowboys players took turns on the diamond, each hit and home run collected a donation from Reliant, raising a total of $104,900 to benefit the Salvation Army. Cowboys punter Brian Unger raised $21,200, hit 17 home runs and was named the 2024 Reliant Home Run Derby champion. The Dallas Cowboys full lineup includes:

Majors Paul and Dawn McFarland and more than 150 local students involved with the Salvation Army attended the event. One deserving student from the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Youth Education Town also earned the opportunity to throw out the first pitch to a Cowboys player. The event featured mascots Hugo (Reliant), Rowdy (Cowboys) and Shieldy (Salvation Army). The National Anthem was performed by the Salvation Army Band, and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Chowboys also joined in on the fun.
