The Oklahoma City Thunder quickly defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 1, earning the second sweep in franchise history. This sealed their ticket to the second round and they were left fumbling as they waited for their next opponent.
On Friday, the Dallas Mavericks were able to shut out the Clippers in the first round in Game 6 of the series at American Airlines Center.
The No. 5 seed will enter the second round looking to pull off an upset of the league's youngest No. 1 seed.
Round 2 of these I-35 opponents begins on Tuesday, May 7th in Oklahoma City. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on TNT and will be the Thunder's third home playoff game this season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder has seven days between games, while the Mavericks have only three days between tilts. It remains to be seen whether rust will show on Bricktown's players, who have suffered another long layoff.
