Jason Kidd has no plans to leave Dallas anytime soon. The Dallas Mavericks head coach has signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with the organization, the team announced Monday.
“We are thrilled that Coach Kidd will continue to lead our team for the next few years with this valuable contract extension,” Dallas Mavericks Governor Patrick Dumont said in a statement. “Kidd led the team to two playoff appearances in three seasons, and we look forward to his leadership as we continue to build and grow this already great franchise.”
Kidd is currently in his third season with the Mavericks. He led the Mavericks to a 140-106 regular season record. The organization also won playoff series in two of his first three seasons as head coach and advanced to the 2022 Western Conference Finals.
