The Stars announced their final lineup changes before Sunday's Game 7 game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Center Radek Faksa returned to action for the first time since Game 2, starting in place of Ty Dellandrea, who scored the winning goal in Game 4. Faksa started alongside Sam Steele and Craig Smith.
Faksa suffered an undisclosed injury during the third period of Game 2 at American Airlines Center and missed the next three games. For Friday's Game 6, Faksa was an optional warm-up participant but ended up being a healthy scratch.
Dallas' fourth line has been one of the best at tipping the ice in this series. This success continues from the end of the regular season when Faksa, Steele and Smith all skated together. The line had never played a postseason game together until Sunday.
Faksa appeared in 74 regular season games and recorded 19 points (7 goals, 12 assists).
Mason Marchment and Jani Hakanpaa are still out with injuries.
Stars coach Pete DeBoer also made some adjustments to the line, moving rookie Logan Stankoven to the first line in place of Joe Pavelski.
The line to open the game looks like this:
Robertson Hinz Stankoven
Dadonov-Duchenne-Séguin
ben johnston pavelski
faxa steel smith
Harley Heiskanen
Lindel Tanev
Suter Lundqvist
