Maxi Kleber ruled outsidethe Mavs announced that the veteran forward would be reevaluated in three weeks after the injury he sustained in the first round.
May 5th via Mavs PR: “The Dallas Mavericks today announced that forward Maxi Kleber's AC joint in his right shoulder has been separated following an MRI. He was injured in Q2.
Kleber will be re-evaluated within three weeks. ”
Tuesday (before Game 1 against Thunder) Shams Charania (Appeared on FanDuel TV's Run It Back) provided the latest information.
Via Charania: “Maxi Kleber is going to be out tonight. He could miss the entire playoff game. I hear he has dislocated the AC joint in his right shoulder. That means he will be out with the Clippers. It was an injury sustained in a close battle. He will be out for quite some time. They plan to re-evaluate him in three weeks, but we're told it will be much longer than that. Probably all throughout the postseason. ”
Kleber played all six games in the first round against the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, shooting 52.4% from the field and 55.6% from 3-point range.
The Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a record of 50 wins and 32 losses.
