What was your most interesting job before you got into real estate?
I have two: I worked in sales for WSVN Channel 7 during the turn of the millennium and ran inbound sales for premium brand RCCL Celebrity Cruises out of the Port of Miami.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I have always loved criminology and real estate, so I wanted to become a lawyer or a real estate agent.
What do you do to relax when you’re feeling stressed?
Exercising, cooking, gardening.
If you could meet any celebrity (living or deceased), who would it be and why?
Carl Sagan thanks to his show “Cosmos”. I love anything related to space.
Where is South Florida’s best kept secret?
Kampung Botanical Gardens in Coconut Grove
What do you like most about this industry?
Helping people. Nothing brings more joy to me than seeing the smiles and energy on people’s faces at the closing table. It makes me smile knowing that I played a part in helping them find, sell or buy their dream home.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Colleagues who don’t know what they’re doing, clients who aren’t well educated and make the process harder than it should be. I’m always trying to educate them, but some just don’t want to listen.
What is your best advice for generating new leads?
Consistent mailers reach out to your farm area, call your database, and pop up in inboxes every week.
What have you been obsessed with watching/reading/listening to lately?
Yellowstone, four agreements and seven communication levels.
What is your favorite meal in South Florida?
Chicken Paquitos at Paquitos Mexican Restaurant.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in South Florida?
One Museum by the great Zaha Hadid.
What’s the strangest thing that’s happened to you at work?
A big pile of keys that The Rock had with him when he came to train at Spinelli Gym in West Kendall, where I used to work.
What is something people might be surprised to know about you?
I have been a real estate agent for almost 20 years.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Italy. The food, the wine, the people and the history. In the US, New Orleans by far. The food and the culture are amazing. The history is amazing too. I love the character and all the music it has to offer. Southern hospitality.
In 10 words or less, what advice would you give to someone new in the industry?
Work smarter, not harder, and never give up or stop learning.
