Now in its second year, the awards program recognizes organizations and individuals who have “demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and business leadership, and promoting practices that enhance equity in all areas of diversity.”
A recruiting partner in Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Dallas office and the first African-American woman elected to the firm’s Executive Committee, Ms. Rogers assists clients with traditional labor relations and litigation, sensitive workplace investigations, employment advice and counseling, and complex employment litigation. She is also a leader and advocate for diversity within the firm and the legal profession at large, co-founding the NEW (Network of Empowered Women) roundtable focused on influencing, empowering, and impacting the careers of African-American women lawyers. She is co-chair of the Dallas office’s Diversity Committee and co-chair of the firm’s Diversity Oneness Luncheon Series, a quarterly gathering for the firm’s racial and ethnic minority lawyers. Ms. Rogers is also a frequent writer and speaker, and has traveled the world training executives on how to effectively conduct workplace investigations.
Amber and the other award recipients will be recognized at a special awards ceremony in February 2022 and featured in a special publication in the Dallas Business Journal’s print and online editions.
