Kyle Flood’s relentless search for a big man for the 2025 class led him to Cedar Hill, home to one of the state’s most athletic offensive linemen. 2025 Cedar Hill (Texas) OL Devin Coleman Coleman committed to the Longhorns today. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Coleman chose Texas over SMU, Oklahoma and Baylor.

He was scheduled to take his official visit to Texas from June 7-9, but sped up the process and committed to the Longhorns before touring Austin and other college campuses. Coleman received his acceptance from the University of Texas in February.
“I’m very happy to receive an offer from the University of Texas,” Coleman told Inside Texas after receiving the offer.
Coleman is the brother of Jordan Coleman, who also received a 2025 offer from Texas, and 2025 defensive lineman Isaiah Coleman.

On3 ranks Coleman as the No. 118 offensive lineman in the state of Texas and the No. 176 player.
He is the second offensive lineman to join Texas’ 2025 enrollment class, joining Port Neches (Texas) Groves’ Jackson Christian.
Charlie Williams’ review
Coleman is big, flexible and well-balanced for his size. He is physical on offense and looks to overpower defenders at pad level. Weighing well over 310 pounds, Coleman is quick and has the ability to balance and block in the open field. He is a versatile player who will likely be a guard at the next level. He excels in screens and pass protection, mimicking the movements of defenders and playing defense without sliding on the ground.
