On Sunday night, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in Texas for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
The game was close, but the Mavs took control in the final three minutes to win 117-106.
Kyrie Irving had a fantastic game, hitting 12 of 20 field goals and 3 of 6 three-pointers for 33 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal in 42 minutes of playing time.
He also scored the game-winning point with 67 seconds left to give the Mavs a six-point lead.
After the game, the 2016 NBA champion posted to X, which garnered more than 14,000 likes within two hours.
Irving wrote: “Dear tribe, stay strong and we will overcome any challenges together. This mission is bigger than us. Hello 🤞🏾🪶♾❤️”
Irving has had a fantastic 2024 NBA playoff run, averaging 22.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 49.2% from the field and 44.0% from three-point range through his first 15 games.
The Mavs currently hold a 3-0 lead over the Timberwolves and can close out the series with a win on Tuesday night (also in Dallas).
The team that wins this series will advance to the NBA Finals to face either the Boston Celtics or the Indiana Pacers.
The Celtics lead the Pacers 3-0 heading into Game 4 on Monday night in Indiana.
Irving also played for the Celtics, Nets and Cavs during his 13 seasons in the league.
