Dallas-based franchise portfolio group BRIX Holdings Inc. acquires new franchises, favoring chains with “superior products and attractive growth prospects.”
BRIX announced on Friday that it is acquiring all of the assets of Clean Juice, “the original USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition is expected to close in the coming weeks and will add more than 75 existing Clean Juice stores, with 12 more in development, to the BRIX network.
The Clean Juice acquisition will expand BRIX’s national footprint to “more than 300 locations” and will also include brands such as Friendly’s, Orange Leaf, Red Mango, Smoothie Factory + Kitchen, Humble Donut Co. and Pizza Jukebox.
Join BRIX’s “healthy” options
“BRIX’s portfolio of brands all have something in common: each has a loyal customer and fanbase and a unique, differentiated position in their field,” BRIX CEO Sherif Mityas said in a statement. “Clean Juice fits that mold perfectly, with a strong base of beloved, certified organic products that effectively expands our range of ‘better for you’ options.”
“We look forward to welcoming this incredible brand and its passionate franchisees and guests to our portfolio and supporting a new era of growth and success,” Mityas added.
Clean Juice was founded by a husband and wife team of juice lovers.
Clean Juice was founded in 2016 by Landon and Kat Eccles, and BRIX calls it a “USDA-certified organic juice and food bar franchise.” Clean Juice’s menu is all “certified organic, with a wide variety of cold-pressed and bottled juices, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, acai bowls, toasts, salads and other healthy food options,” BRIX said.
“We launched this concept with a vision to redefine the fast-casual landscape by introducing options that truly support a healthy and organic lifestyle.” Landon Eccles“This is the right next step in our brand’s journey, and I’m confident that Clean Juice is well positioned for future growth and success within the BRIX family of brands,” the Clean Juice co-founder and CEO said in a statement.
