On Thursday night, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-103, in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals to advance to the NBA Finals.
Irving had a fantastic game, hitting 14 of 27 field goals and 4 of 10 three-pointers in 40 minutes of play, finishing with 36 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
After the win, Irving post X received over 25,000 likes and 400,000 impressions in less than three hours.

Irving is in his second season with Dallas and has been a great fit alongside All-Star forward Luka Doncic.
Through the first 17 games of the 2024 playoffs, he Averaging He averaged 22.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 42.1% from three-point range.
This will be Irving’s fourth NBA Finals appearance (first without LeBron James).
He has appeared in three NBA Finals as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, helping them win the championship in 2016 by defeating Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
The Mavericks will face Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics in the 2024 NBA Finals.
Game 1 will take place on June 6th in Boston, Massachusetts.
