Billingsley Cos. is pursuing Sloan Corners, a master-planned development located at the X-shaped intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and State Route 121 in Collin County.
Located in the Allen and Fairview neighborhoods, the project will feature millions of square feet of development spread across nearly 500 acres and serve the fast-growing community along U.S. 75. The price tag upon completion could rise to $3 billion.
A Dallas developer broke ground on an apartment complex at Hartwood Square on April 25.
Hartwood Square’s east tower will include 210 units over four floors, while the larger west tower will include 269 units over four floors.
Leasing for the east tower is scheduled to begin in the third or fourth quarter of next year, with the west tower set to begin in March or April 2026.
Amenities will include a pool and fitness center.
Construction on the Allen retail building is expected to begin later this year, with the restaurant set to open in the first quarter of 2026.
Billingsley plans to break ground on the first phase of a 483-unit apartment complex on the Fairview side of Sloan Corners in 2025.
When completed, the Allen portion of Sloane Corners will include more than 6 million square feet of office space, approximately 4,000 apartment units, 120,000 square feet of retail, 270 hotel rooms and more than 50 acres of parks and open space.
The Fairview side, on the east side of U.S. 75, will feature 4.4 million square feet of office space, 2,000 apartment buildings, 100,000 square feet of retail and 350 hotel rooms.
Billingsley, whose developments include One Arts Plaza and Cypress Waters, acquired a controlling interest in the Fairview site in 2019 and partnered with the landowners, the Pete Fish family, to develop the property.
Two years later, Billingsley purchased 260 adjacent acres in Allen.
The project is named after Sloan Creek, which runs through the site.
