The Galleria Dallas rebuilt its entrance with new landscaping and seating.
Facing the Dallas North Tollway, an area known as “The Alley” will be open Friday and Saturday, with local vendors hosting a festive street market with 10 percent of sales donated to the Dallas Arboretum.
Vendors set to set up shop on Friday and Saturday include:
- Concrete Dream sells home decor items such as planters and candles.
- Cool Creations is a store that sells cool shaped crayons that empower and educate kids.
- Decluttered Candles is a candle manufacturer that uses ingredients and fragrances that are paraben and phthalate free.
- Hi Mary Lo is a Texas-raised, London-made accessories and clothing store.
- JuiceLand is a maker of raw, cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies.
- Kessler Baking Studio is a local bakery specializing in handcrafted treats
- LAUDE the Label is a clothing company that partners with artisans around the world to create heirloom quality wardrobe essentials and accessories.
- LIO Jewelry sells sweat-resistant, handmade luxury jewelry
- Swap Top is a maker of hats for children and adults that you can attach your favorite charms to.
- Texifornia has clothing, jewelry and accessories.
- Whipped Up Wonderful is a Texas-based manufacturer of handcrafted bath bombs, shower steamers, and bubble baths.
The new entrance will also feature outdoor seating for the North Italian restaurant that opened at the mall on March 6.
North Italia’s patio can seat 100 people. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant is the third North Italia in the North Texas area, with two locations in downtown Dallas and Plano. North Italia is pitching itself as a destination for North Dallas office workers and area residents, offering happy hour and lunch and brunch menus.
The location previously housed Grill on the Alley, which closed during the first year of the pandemic.
The 42-year-old North Dallas Mall, which has 200 stores and restaurants, also renovated the interior of the shopping center, installing new seating throughout.
