CyrusOne, a Dallas-based owner, developer and operator of global data centers specializing in providing cutting-edge digital infrastructure solutions, has closed a $7.9 billion warehouse credit facility. The transaction is in addition to a $1.8 billion revolving credit facility financing closed in May, raising approximately $9.7 billion in additional debt capital with broad support from lenders, the company said.

The company said the warehouse credit facility will fund existing and future development projects primarily in the United States, while the global revolving credit facility will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Sustainability as a goal
CyrusOne said both loans are sustainability-related and aligned with its sustainability-related lending principles. The company said the prices of the loans will be adjusted based on the achievement of targeted reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
Over the past year, CyrusOne said it has taken steps to better meet customer demand for AI while strengthening the company’s sustainability goals.

CyrusOne also maintains a strong commitment to sustainability, announcing plans last year to advance its net-zero carbon pledge by 10 years to 2030.
The company operates more than 55 data centers across the United States and Europe in key digital gateway markets.
