Members of the Roswell Association of Realtors celebrated their 2023 professional accomplishments and introduced their 2024 officers and directors Saturday night at a glitzy Hollywood Awards Night-themed awards banquet.
There were apparently over 150 people who enjoyed a night of recognition and mutual admiration. Many of the men wore suits, but most of the women wore festive gowns or cocktail dresses.
Guests walking up to the entrance inside the Roswell Convention Center were welcomed by a mock red carpet adorned with silver stars bearing the names of top producers in the local real estate industry. Glowing balloons trailed up to the front door, and photographers were waiting to snap pictures as the well-dressed partygoers arrived.
The experts honored at the event were also preparing for photo shoots.
Heidi Bills was named Realtor of the Year and Chris Fuller was named Newcomer of the Year. Both are dedicated to their families and communities, the honoree noted.
“I'm humbled by this,” Bills told the audience, crying tears of joy.
Along with selling real estate, she does a lot of volunteer work.
The Bills also won the 2020 Rookie of the Year award.
Fuller, who is also an instructor at Eastern New Mexico University, said he found selling real estate “fun.”
He explained that it also allows Fuller to further pursue his true passion of helping people.
The highest-level producers classified as Platinum members were Jesse McDaniel, Jen Wilcox, Bryn Brown, and Hannah Brown.
The next group consists of performers called Diamond: Jennifer Smith, Heidi Bills, Karla Crowe, Dan Coleman, and Bill Davis.

More than 30 local real estate professionals achieved Bronze designation.
Once all the performers had finished their roles, a cart filled with beautifully composed salads was rolled out, followed by an equally picture-perfect main course. Servers dressed in black and white brought food to tables and served attendees.
There was a bar at the end of the room. A long table was lined with a variety of desserts, ready to satisfy every craving, from sweet to savory. Fruity or creamy.
There was a drawing for prizes, and those not yet ready to start eating walked around the large room mingling and taking pictures in a fun photo booth style.
This year, the association will be led by Jennifer Lewis as president, Sam Pettit as president-elect, Dustin Bates as treasurer, Esther Parkey as secretary, Mindy Longmire as past president, and Robert Holmstrom, Jennifer Smith, Jim Manatt, we have Venessa. Lewis was appointed as director.
